Welcome To Rio Rico Golf Club
Welcome to the Rio Rico Golf Club! Under the management of Sustainable Golf Management, Inc, the Rio Rico Golf Club is undergoing the rebuilding of a famous Robert Trent Jones, Sr. course that had been neglected during the recession of the past years. Our goal at Rio Rico Golf Club is to adhere to the environmental creed of sustainable agronomy while preserving the integrity of Mr. Jones’ authentic Sonoran design, a modern approach to a traditional game!
Rio Rico Golf Club is a famous area for bird watching and has been designated as an “Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary”. We also have deer, bobcats, javelinas, and coyotes as part of our wildlife. We welcome birders and nature enthusiasts to come walk our course and enjoy the abundance of birds and wildlife.
Please note: Until we get some irrigation and pump issues resolved, we have made the decision to put our time and efforts into the Front 9. The issue of getting enough water pressure to the entire course is the basis of our decision, rather than having 18 holes playing at less than a mediocre level, we’ve elected to have 9 holes in much improved shape that is fun to play.
Walking or riding, nine holes or eighteen, we invite you to come enjoy a round of golf on a course designed by one of the best in the business, in a friendly, welcoming atmosphere with unbeatable rates, as we rehab our course.
Our Calabasas Station Grill offers a full service bar and Sunday brunch! Join us every Sunday from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. in the Calabasas Station Grill and Bar.
Fresh, house made sandwiches and snacks are available every day from the cooler in the Pro Shop. You are welcome to enjoy them in the restaurant, on the patio, or take them out as you play the golf course!
